Dr. Pamela Rutledge‘s insight:

Is it okay to be brilliant at others’ expense in the name of promotion?To me, prankvertising/stuntvertising violates the ‘social media’ ethic by taking advantage of the audience’s lack of knowledge rather than building a fan base community and inviting them to participate.
